Crossing Bridges: A Chance to Grow
The Hibbing Adults with Disabilities Program is open to all area adults with visible and invisible handicaps. The goal is to provide opportunities for the handicapped adult to achieve personal development and success through education, recreation, and socialization.
A few of the activities include a Friday Night Recreation, and Saturday is bowling day, where participants spend two hours getting exercise, having fun and learning sportsmanship. The program runs from September to May.
Friday Night Recreation
This program consists of a variety of planned activities which includes dances, karaoke, special events and field trips. Activities typically run 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Cost to attend is $5.00 per person. Friday Night Recreation takes place in the Greenhaven Elementary (323 E 37th St, Hibbing, MN 55746) cafeteria.
Saturday Afternoon Bowling
Saturday is bowling day, where participants spend two hours getting exercise, having fun and learning sportsmanship. Bowling takes place at The Hibbing Bowling Center (1929 5th Ave E, Hibbing, MN 55746) and costs $6.00 per person. Please come with exact amount. Bowling begins promptly at Noon and ends precisely at 2:00pm.

If Hibbing in under any of the following warnings, watches, or advisories Community Ed classes will be canceled.
