Crossing Bridges: A Chance to Grow

The Hibbing Adults with Disabilities Program is open to all area adults with visible and invisible handicaps. The goal is to provide opportunities for the handicapped adult to achieve personal development and success through education, recreation, and socialization.

A few of the activities include a Friday Night Recreation, and Saturday is bowling day, where participants spend two hours getting exercise, having fun and learning sportsmanship. The program runs from September to May.

Friday Night Recreation

Program consisting of dances, karaoke, special events and field trips.Cost: $5.00 each evening

Saturday Bowling

Bowling takes place at The Hibbing Bowling Center (1929 5th Ave. East)  and costs $6.00 per person. Please come with exact amount.  Bowling begins promptly at Noon. Please have your shoes on and ready to begin at this time. Bowling ends precisely at 2:00pm

Weather Cancelation Policy

If Hibbing in under any of the following warnings, watches, or advisories Community Ed classes will be canceled.

  • Blizzard: Warning, Watch
  • Winter Storm: Warning, Watch
  • Ice Storm: Warning, Watch
  • Wind Chill: Warning, Watch, Advisory
